I'm sorry you interpreted my blog i...Hi Peter,

I'm sorry you interpreted my blog in that way. I wholeheartedly believe in equality and I am saddened to hear that you perceived my opinion as something contrary to that.

The blog was not intended to speak hateful words about Lady Gaga, rather to challenge her opinion on love and careers. Using her name and C.S Lewis' name was intended to provide personification for the two attitudes . The play on Gaga's name was meant to put a humorous spin on the phrase.

This post was only intended to encourage the attitude that love and vulnerability are necessary in life. Thanks for reading my blog, I hope you will continue to do so.

Lydialyds.hjhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08579706969318606554noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-218772735986029656.post-80616460009127369892012-06-11T01:12:33.370-07:002012-06-11T01:12:33.370-07:00A disclaimer of opinion is perhaps necessary.
We...A disclaimer of opinion is perhaps necessary.

We need not rank the members of this world. If your bible is true then God himself has said that we are all created equal. The Internet is a place already littered with hateful words towards many celebrities.

When a friend tells you she is ‘warding off men altogether’ after recent turbulence in a relationship, I’m sure you would not go so in-depth in explaining how “it is better to have loved and lost …etc.,” and how your friend now a lesser than someone else because of her poorly chosen and foolish remark.

We all go through hardship and we all say what we might not necessarily believe truthful. We say these things to lighten our moods; we joke with ourselves and hope that our blatant lies will make us laugh and somehow lure ourselves to security.

We need more care in evaluating our celebrities. When the broth of the soup of humanity is boiled away to leave only our most basic form, we see that we are love. We shouldn’t chatter away on the Internet in attempts to pick apart the words of those in the public eye. We should accept them as the residual love at the bottom of the pot. Lady Gaga is a symbol of love and hope for millions around the world. Her committal to the acceptance of all love is extraordinary.

Lady Gaga, much like your C.S. Lewis I am sure, has said things that she knows are not true. I state simply that the world would function so much better if everyone knew that C.S. Lewis = Lady Gaga and no person > another.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08130445219778605625noreply@blogger.com
